The PixelDiva DesignZ Yahoo Group  is getting ready for a treat! We are going to start playing games to help entertain us while we wait for spring. The first game we have planned is Diva Bingo. The words are posted in the files section of the Yahoo group, along with the instructions of how to play. Unlike some games where there is only one winner, EVERYONE that gets bingo WINS! We’ll start calling words on January 23 if you want to play.

The next game planned is called Diva Shopping and we look for diva treasures. Everyone that participates will “go home” with some lovely gifts. More information to come about this soon.

Yahoo Newsletter Name

PixelDiva has a newsletter she sends out weekly on Tuesday, which contains  information, tutorials and freebies! And it now…….(drum roll please)…… has a name! It was a very hard decision to make because there were many suggestions and they were all FABULOUS! But we narrowed it down to one and the name is going to be announced this week!

But until then, we have a freebie today called “Bits” which is somewhat a grab bag.  There are a couple of brag book pages and some other bits. 

 

I reuploaded the preview.  All of the designs are saved at 300ppi. The previous preview was just saved too big and did not resize correctly. Hope you enjoy it!

The PixelDiva Yahoo Group continues to grow. We have a newsletter coming out on Tuesdays, but it doesn’t have a name! Oh, No! So we need YOUR help! We need to name our newsletter. Submit a suggestion and you’ll recieve a mini kit.  Submit the winning name and you’ll win a complete kit! You can submit your suggestion via email. Entries are due January 14, 2008 and it will be voted on by the Diva DesignZ Team.

DigiScrap Shak

The DigiScrap Shak Newsletter came out and our very own DesignZ Team member, Faith, had created one of the featured Layouts! It is a gorgeous layout made with PixelDiva’s Vintage Christmas Papers and elements from Funkee Blue Holidaze.

The freebie for today is a really pretty mini brag book. We hope you like it. The PixelDiva Yahoo Group will be recieving an exclusive brag book this month! Plus we have a couple of games planned, which will allow the Divas chances to win prizes!  You are more than welcomed to join in the fun!

PixelDiva is having a crop tonight at 11pm EST in the Digitals Chat Room. The topic of the crop is the “Use of the Scrappers Triangle,” which refers to the usage of elelments to help guide the eye to your picture. This is sure to be a fun and very interesting class.  Now, I know that her crop is called ”Midnight Madness,” but I didn’t think it was literal.  PixelDiva is going to give her brand new kits “A Very Beary Christmas” and “Prim Country Plaids” as a bonus if you complete a LO based on the topic of the crop!

This is an extremely nice kit and several of the quickpages made by the Diva DesignZ Team that you have seen over the past couple weeks were created from this kit. 

This is an awesome deal! I don’t know about you, but I still have holiday pictures left to scrap and winter does not seem to be ending soon (shiver).  Well, I may be cold, but my layouts will look good!

The PixelDiva Yahoo Group has hit a milestone in its young life with 100 members! Now, I realize that based on your perspective this may not seem like a lot, but we want to celebrate!! The 100th person recieved PixelDiva’s 12 month Pocket Calendar and the yahoo members will be recieving a party treat! We also have some really fun things planned for the group for later this month, but there will be more information to come.

Challenges at DigiScrapShak

PixelDiva has a new calendar challenge at DigiscapShak.  Just let her know you want to participate and she’ll send you a fabulous mini kit, which works well with her Funkee Blue Holidaze. Then once you have completed the challenge, you will get another mini kit for a posting bonus!

Also at DigiscrapShak is challenge about New Years Resolutions. The other Divas and I have been participating in this one and earning fabulous gifts! So far there has been no scrapping involved, however they do have another contest that utilizes the pieces you earn in the daily challenge to win some super prizes.

World Scrapping Tour

Have you ever wondered about scrapping styles around the world? World Scrapping Tour  (WST) is a relatively new site that explores this and more. It is a really fun place that features different stores and designers from all over the world! This month they are featuring Treasures to Scrap. A hybrid store that has both digital and paper scrapping and PixelDiva DesignZ. WST also has daily challenges, that allows you to earn pieces of a wonderful mega kit. The the prize for the first challenge was created by PixelDiva. Today’s freebie was made with this mini kit.
